Prior to your first visit with us, you can save time at the office by downloading the necessary forms here, fill them out at home, and bring them with you to your appointment.

Your First Visit

Often times your Endodontic visit and treatment can be completed in one appointment. There are many instances where we need to see you and your tooth for more than one appointment.

If we are evaluating a tooth that has had a previous root canal, it’s imperative to see you and evaluate if retreatment or surgical intervention are appropriate treatment choices for you.

Not every patient that comes through our door requires a root canal. Our duty to you is to be thorough and transparent with the findings of our examination. Sometimes, less invasive treatments are indicated to help alleviate your dental issue.

Procedure Preparation

You generally start with a pleasant visit with our dental assistant who will gather all your information – especially the history of the tooth we are treating. Next, we’ll take you to get a cone beam CT scan. This scan allows us to see everything we need to about your situation in exacting detail for consistent and excellent outcomes.

We have found the CBCT to offer the highest level of information available. These scans are easy and completely non-invasive. The machine simply rotates around your head, capturing the images we need. Finally, you’re off to work with the doctor.

During and After Treatment

We’ll settle you in, help you choose your entertainment, and get you numbed. If you need anything or want to take a break, let us know right away. Each treatment is tailored and individualized for your tooth, so treatment time will vary according to your case.

Once your treatment is completed, we’ll send you back to your permanent dental home.
